Dramatic Victory, Cam Quýt and Team Send Message to Opponent Mạnh Hào: “We’ll Always Be Together, My Friend”

That was what happened during yesterday’s match in the 33 Random format, a relatively new genre that has recently gained popularity among AoE fans and players alike.

The VEC alliance took to the field with a lineup including BiBi, Tiểu Màn Thầu, and Cam Quýt. On the other side was Sparta’s strongest trio with the familiar names Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng, Mạnh Hào, and U98. While the first match recorded the superiority of the VEC alliance with a 3-1 victory due to card advantages, a similar scenario occurred in the second match when Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng’s Sparta easily surpassed their opponent with a decisive score of 3-0.

The turning point of the match occurred in the final of the third match when the card advantage favored Sparta significantly. However, on an outstanding day for BiBi, and especially for the two aggressive players Cam Quýt and Tiểu Màn Thầu, they effectively capitalized on Mạnh Hào’s mistakes to secure the decisive victory in the third match.

Right after that match, Cam Quýt and the commentator V_Mưa from VEC borrowed a trendy phrase that many young people enjoy nowadays to send to Mạnh Hào with the message “Mạnh Hào, we will always be together, my friend.” Mạnh Hào’s mistakes were the direct cause of Sparta’s defeat in the third match.

And then this scenario played out once again in the final match, this time it wasn’t Mạnh Hào but U98 who played the role of the “culprit” in Team Sparta’s defeat. It should also be mentioned that Tiểu Màn Thầu had some shining moments when he used Phonexian remarkably well, causing U98 to be “crippled” right from the start, and then together with Cam Quýt and BiBi, they “painted the town red” in Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng’s base, despite this player controlling the top-tier Shang civilization.

In a high-level AoE match, sometimes one player’s victory is built from another’s mistakes. In yesterday’s match, at the decisive moment, Mạnh Hào and U98 took turns contributing to creating stunning moments for their opponents across the battlefield.

“We will always be together, my friend” will be the phrase that gamers like Mạnh Hào and U98 will remember as a “debt” from today, and it will certainly motivate them to play with determination in future rematches.
