Perhaps by now, everyone is quite familiar with the slogan “staying home is being patriotic.” Gamers suddenly utilize the advantage of gaming comfortably… at home, contributing their efforts to fight against Covid-19.

From this determination, and to encourage the spirit of gamers, a showmatch themed “Stay Home and Watch Games” will be held, featuring two big names in the Vietnamese gaming scene: Team Minh Nghi and Team Đụt. Notably, the showmatch will consist of a mentally challenging yet entertaining series of Bo3 matches between the two teams in three modes: Đụt Mode (only support champions allowed), All Random, and ARAM.

In response to the movement of staying home and playing games, Team Đụt will join the showmatch to interact with the beautiful MC Minh Nghi’s team on April 25.

According to initial information, Team Đụt will consist of five humorous and relatable members: Đạt Óc, Vũ Hay Ho, A Phểu (Văn Pháp), Tứ Tồ, and the only female face: Thúy Cethline. With the principle of solidarity, bonding, and helping each other both in-game and in life, all five members of Team Đụt, despite not having much experience in competitive play, carry with them a sense of joy and excitement at the opportunity to sharpen their skills.

It is known that the average rank of Team Đụt is only around Silver I, with some members even being as low as Iron (everyone knows who that is). However, with understanding, a spirit of camaraderie, and “great” teamwork—the kind that tens of thousands of viewers often see during livestreams—Team Đụt is confident they will deliver the most visually appealing showmatch for viewers, especially for the gamers.

Before the showmatch, captain Vũ Hay Ho of Team Đụt expressed confidence in his team’s strength. Although he has only been familiar with League of Legends for a few months, Vũ has shown quite a few qualities to become a “skilled” player, especially in the support role. In recent weeks, after learning they would compete against Minh Nghi’s team, Vũ and his teammates have been actively practicing. Although highlight moments may be few and “blind moments” many, Team Đụt, led by the talented captain Vũ Hay Ho, promises to keep Team Minh Nghi on their toes.

In the past, Team Đụt participated in the PUBG Vietnam Masters Championship and achieved impressive results. Therefore, fans are very hopeful that although participating in a League of Legends showmatch is not their strong suit, Team Đụt is entirely capable of creating interesting surprises or, at the very least, unforgettable humorous experiences. Notably, they also have the advantage of playing in their comfort zone with the “Đụt Mode” tailored just for them in the upcoming Bo3.

Team Minh Nghi

As one of the most prominent faces in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene in recent years, the familiar MC of the VCS tournament system – Trần Nguyễn Minh Nghi always becomes the center of attention at events she attends. Her beautiful and charming appearance gives Minh Nghi advantages in her work, but above all, her gentle demeanor, proper behavior, and optimistic, vibrant personality are what win the hearts of countless gamers.

In the current context of social distancing, understanding her influence, Minh Nghi is one of the leading figures in the League of Legends community calling on gamers to participate in the “Stay Home and Play Games” movement and has become one of the guests participating in the highly anticipated online showmatch that will be streamed live on Lotus on April 25.

Facing Team Đụt in the upcoming showmatch, Team Minh Nghi and her friends, including members: Minh Nghi, Huỳnh Hoàng Thiên Tài, Kem Cà Rốt, Remind, and Nazgriel, will truly present a significant challenge that the “Silver Squad” led by captain Vũ Hay Ho must overcome.

Because, not only is this a lineup of all “handsome boys and beautiful girls”, but it is also a combination of hot streamers like Remind, Kem Cà Rốt, and skilled players, and even analysts like Minh Nghi, Huỳnh Hoàng Thiên Tài, or Nazgriel.

Notably, this showmatch will also welcome a familiar face to the League of Legends audience. That is commentator Ling Cao Thủ – who is also receiving a lot of attention and curiosity about the “head shave” process following his prediction of the VCS finals earlier.

Not only promising to be intense, but the showmatch will also bring exciting prizes for viewers

Besides enjoying the highly anticipated and thrilling showmatch filled with laughter, viewers will also have the chance to win exciting prizes. Specifically, many Garena gift cards will be regularly shown on the livestream screen, just waiting for the “quick-eyed” participants to claim.

The participation method is very simple:

Step 1. Download the Lotus app for iOS and Android

Download Lotus now on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).

Step 2. Register and log in to Lotus.

Step 3. Access the livestream link for the showmatch “Stay Home and Play Games”

(taking place at 8:00 PM on April 25, or find the GameK page and select “Follow” to receive notifications for the event as soon as it starts!)

Will the members of Team Minh Nghi have the chance to showcase their try-hard League of Legends skills, or will Team Đụt’s “wildcards” shine to prove they are the “masters of all games”? The outcome will be determined in the fiery showmatch on Saturday, April 25.
