“Stormy waves cover a man’s life, future thanks to his wife’s family” – Doublelift officially returns to TSM, still doesn’t forget to snipe at his old team

Every time Doublelift transfers, his old team becomes the target of his jabs, and this time Team Liquid is no exception.

Doublelift has once again become the center of the most talked-about transfer in North American League of Legends. He has officially parted ways with Team Liquid after a disastrous season to return to his old home – Team SoloMid.

On the day of this welcome back, TSM collaborated with Doublelift to create a launch clip that will likely make many people “hot under the collar”.

Watching the clip above, we might encounter some “familiar” scenes, as this is almost a recreation of the exact script from five years ago, when Doublelift made his debut with TSM.

Back then, he played the role of a “victim” who was thrown out by Counter Logic Gaming, rescued by Bjergsen, and immediately after joining TSM, Doublelift’s first act was to throw his old team’s jersey into the trash.

Not stopping there, after officially confirming his return to Team SoloMid, Doublelift also posted a vlog “calling out” Team Liquid and his former teammates.

In the vlog, Doublelift clearly stated why he decided to leave Team Liquid, citing disagreements when TL’s management let Xmithie go, who was his most synergistic teammate. Additionally, he revealed that he was talked behind his back by teammates when he showed poor performance during the Spring 2020 split.

In fact, Doublelift was even asked by TL members to “call less”, even though he was the main caller of the team. These internal conflicts were the reasons Doublelift had no more reason to stay with Team Liquid.

In reality, if we only go by Doublelift’s account, it is hard to know who is right or wrong. But anyway, this transfer is complete, and with his return to TSM, Doublelift will officially be under the management of… his girlfriend Leena Xu – who holds one of the top positions in this organization.

With both officially "on the same team", it seems that single gamers will have many opportunities to "envy" such images of Doublelift and Leena Xu
