Developed by GTV since 2017, GTV Plus is a LAN connection platform that transforms offline PC games into online battlefields for thousands of gamers. Currently, some of the games being played on GTV Plus include: AoE 1, AoE 2, Warcraft 3, Counter Strike, Red Alert 2, Hero III, and Starcraft I… all of which are legends in the Vietnamese gaming community.
However, the number of games on this platform is still quite limited, with most rooms being dedicated to Age of Empires and Warcraft 3. The GTV Plus Management Board asserts that they will continue to update with more games and expand the audience so that rooms for all games can be filled.

The biggest advantage of GTV Plus is perhaps that it has been designed and built by a team of technology engineers in Vietnam. Therefore, feedback from gamers is always taken seriously, as evidenced by continuous bug fixes. Specifically, since the beginning of 2020, GTV Plus has had 7 minor updates and 2 major updates, contributing to creating the most user-friendly LAN software in Vietnam.
Notably, on April 27, GTV Plus released the April Big Update with the “name change lock” feature for War 3 and DotA 1, marking an unprecedented breakthrough in this strategic game. According to a representative from GTV Plus, this will help reduce the long-standing issue of “game sabotaging and changing names” that has plagued the War 3 and DotA 1 community for nearly a decade.

Additionally, a series of interface changes, system quality upgrades, and the development of the AoE AntiHack version have been made to combat most of the hacks that are rampant online today. It is hoped that this new version will create a clean and fair gaming environment for Vietnamese gamers.
And if you are someone who enjoys competition, consider participating in the semi-professional tournaments organized by the GTV Plus Management Team. This will be a new playground for semi-professional gamers nationwide to exchange knowledge and satisfy their passions. The GTV Plus Management Board affirms that they will continuously maintain these tournaments in Vietnam and even expand to the international arena.

Another advantage is that the GTV Plus Management Board has successfully launched this gaming software in CSM and GCP gaming rooms, helping players minimize unnecessary installation steps whenever they want to play games at internet cafes.
While there are still many limitations regarding the number of games and connection issues, with advantages such as lightweight, simple and friendly interface, quick installation, and easy-to-use features… GTV Plus is increasingly trusted and used by Vietnamese gamers, affirming its position as the leading gaming platform in Vietnam today.
In the near future, the GTV Plus Management Board is planning strategic directions to expand into the Southeast Asian and Asian markets. Perhaps in the future, we will witness exciting DotA 1 or Age of Empires battles between Vietnam and other countries?
