Recently, a staff member from the anti-cheat development team at Riot Games provided specific information about the number of cheating players who have been “caught” (expressed in quite an elaborate way) in VALORANT.
According to this individual, the current anti-cheat system “Vanguard Anti Cheat” from Riot has caught 8,873 cheating players.

These accounts have been banned, and according to this Riot employee, there is little chance for them to receive any “clemency.” Currently, VALORANT players can only experience the beta version of the game by obtaining a beta key, so this form of punishment is likely a direct move against the IP addresses of these cheating players to permanently “lock out” these disruptive elements.

At the time of the Beta Test launch, VALORANT also recorded numerous instances of players using third-party software for cheating purposes. As of now, Vanguard Anti Cheat has become a prized product for Riot Games as it has proven to be very effective in detecting cheating cases. However, this software has also caused many gamers to feel annoyed due to the “side effects” that harm gaming devices and interfere too much with the gameplay experience.
