Once famous for his viewpoint of “better to boost accounts for money than to play professionally”, Dopa is one of the rare names not classified as a pro player but still known by League of Legends players everywhere. Of course, Dopa hasn’t boosted accounts for a long time, but the attention on this guy has not diminished at all, as he possesses a playstyle and mindset rich in “rank grinding” that is very much worth learning from.

However, playing well does not mean being immune to bugs; in his latest video, Dopa encountered 3 significant bugs while playing League of Legends. First, his character suddenly ran out to the middle of the lane and stood still for about 2 seconds, and he couldn’t control it. This is likely due to a network error in League of Legends because there’s no way Dopa could have died, resulting in his unfortunate death.

The second bug Dopa encountered was being unable to open the shop interface when clicking on it at the Nexus. He clicked repeatedly on the shop, but it still did not appear, so he had to resort to the most manual method of clicking on the gold amount below his inventory to open the shop for buying items. Some humorous comments suggested that the League of Legends shop also knows how to take a break for social distancing.

The final bug that Dopa encountered, which was also the lightest, was a visual bug with the turret; specifically, in the match, the enemy’s top turret had been destroyed, yet somehow the image still displayed as if it were intact. Fortunately, this bug was minor and did not cause Dopa to die or be unable to buy items as in the previous instances, but it is still quite unacceptable for a major game like League of Legends.

Although these bugs are not classified as “breaking bugs” that ruin the game, they put players in a frustrating situation, making it impossible to fully concentrate on the game. Riot Games continues to let these minor issues significantly affect the gaming experience of players. It is unclear at what stage Riot Games’ bug-fixing plans are, allowing such trivial bugs to proliferate as seen above.
