Information has emerged suggesting Gumayusi made toxic remarks towards Zeus
Recently, the League of Legends community was abuzz after discovering a conversation between Gumayusi and Zeus. Once teammates at T1, the duo often showcased their closeness while competing together. However, since Zeus left T1, there have been few noteworthy interactions between them. Therefore, Gumayusi’s seemingly toxic behavior towards Zeus has surprised many.
Specifically, Gumayusi referred to Zeus using a term that many T1 fans have used in frustration over the player’s departure, implying a form of “insult.” In response, Zeus simply replied with a “?”.
However, just this brief exchange has led many viewers to direct criticism towards Gumayusi. “He intentionally said that about Zeus, right?”, one comment questioned. Meanwhile, others have characterized “Gumayusi as the Doinb of T1 for frequently causing trouble with his statements.”
However, in a different perspective, many believe that Gumayusi was merely having a friendly chat with Zeus like close friends do. Given their familiarity, it’s understandable that their interactions in private chat could be more casual, even playful.
Both Gumayusi and Zeus are encountering challenges
In the 2025 LCK Cup, both superstars who helped T1 reach the championship at the 2023 – 2024 World Championship are facing certain issues. While Zeus is still trying to adapt to the new competitive environment, Gumayusi has to compete for his position with the newcomer Smash, who has just been promoted from the Challengers team.
However, Zeus’s issues seem easier to resolve as HLE is willing to give him time and opportunities. As for Gumayusi, no one can predict whether he will take the stage for the remainder of the LCK Cup, or when he will make his return, which remains a very difficult question.
