Recently, T1 announced a series of promotional images for KLEVV’s CRAS XR RGB SSD, featuring members of the official League of Legends team. KLEVV is one of T1’s long-time partners, and with the LCK not yet underway, it’s understandable that the reigning champions of South Korea have become the face of this brand.
However, the most notable highlight of the newly released promotional images is Faker’s somewhat different appearance. Until now, he rarely changed his hairstyle (except for one time when he had curly hair in 2015). Fans are too familiar with the image of a simple Demon King with an extremely minimalist bowl cut.
Yet in KLEVV’s promotional images, the “Chairman” surprised everyone by switching to a trendy side-part hairstyle. And with just this small change related to his hair, combined with a photoshoot style that partners described as “like a professional model,” Faker’s looks suddenly received a significant upgrade.
Contrary to his previous image of being simple and friendly, and his habit of “making a cool face but looking funny to everyone,” Faker in the new images exudes a more mature and colder charisma, embodying the role of the leading flagbearer – the captain and the brightest star of T1.
