As nearly a perfect model of talent, ethics, and character, Faker has always been a “perfect 10” role model for a professional League of Legends player. But ultimately, he is still human, and being human means having flaws. One of Faker’s shortcomings that even his teammates find exasperating is his penchant for telling jokes that… no one laughs at.
During a talk show introducing Samsung’s curved monitor product, the T1 captain was once again called out by his teammates for his tendency to crack tasteless jokes while living in the Gaming House.
When the host asked about the comparison between listening to Faker tell jokes for an hour and listening to the boss (Joe Marsh) speak for 10 minutes, both Teddy and Canna chose the second option, indicating they’d rather face the boss than sit through their captain’s humor.

The result was that both Teddy and Canna chose X, meaning they preferred to talk with the boss rather than hear Faker ramble on. Anyone who has been in the workforce knows how much pressure comes with communicating with superiors, especially when it’s the big boss.
It’s true that the President of T1 is a very… playful and friendly person, but young players will still face significant barriers when talking to him, while Faker is both a teammate and a close friend, yet Teddy boldly declared: “I’d rather sit down and talk with Uncle Joe Marsh than with Faker.”

In previous streams, T1’s marksman has complained many times about the “boring” jokes of his senior. He even bluntly stated: “I let Faker’s lame jokes slide just because he is Faker. If it were anyone else making those comments, I would have punched them right away.”

Not just Teddy, both Cuzz and Canna have also hinted at the “difficulty in digesting” Faker’s jokes. However, these two didn’t express it as bluntly as Teddy but instead suggested that Faker’s jokes always have a deeper meaning, it’s just that not everyone has the ability to… understand them.
