Since the beginning of 2020, in their developer corner videos, Riot Games has revealed that they will have some extremely big events this year, accompanied by new champions or reworks of old characters. In the first half of this year, we have seen the reworks of Fiddlesticks and Volibear, could this be the spring event that Riot has brought?
After spring ends, we naturally move on to summer and just a few hours ago, Riot Games had a strong tease for their new Pool Party skins. Perhaps the heat of summer was not enough, so Riot let their champions show off their long legs in the teaser video. However, that’s mostly the case as there is still a small character from the Yordle race making an appearance.
Let’s make some guesses, the character on the far right with the surfboard and tanned skin is definitely Taliyah. On the left side, we can see a pair of metallic legs, the shape definitely indicates a female champion, very likely this is Orianna.The next champion with muscular legs, everyone can guess is a male champion; however, with an umbrella beside him and the symbol of Demacia, we can “predict” that this will be Jarvan IV.
Next, we focus on the star of the show, long, white legs, signs of an incredibly beautiful female champion. This is likely to be Syndra because we see a purple ball nearby, and the tattoos of this character in the clip closely resemble the symbols on Syndra’s default skin. Finally, the much smaller champion compared to the others is likely Heimerdinger because he is a Yordle, and a toy turret is also nearby.
With the Pool Party skins being teased, the League of Legends summer event is likely very close. The 2020 Cowboy Skins featuring Senna and Irelia will likely be released in patch 10.12, and then patch 10.13 may mark the start of the summer event. Riot Games stated earlier this year that we will get two new champions this summer, combined with the previous champion roadmap events, we can feel that those characters are very close to arriving.
