Looking back a bit, Blizzard’s OverWatch was like a real explosion at its launch, and a significant part of this success was the incredibly outstanding and unique design of the character Tracer. Appearing as a young, dynamic girl with agile movement skills, Tracer immediately attracted gamers to this game.

Riot Games naturally understands this, and they also followed a similar path when the first character to officially appear in VALORANT videos was Jett, a female assassin with agile movement abilities. Riot Games did not hide their intention to make Jett an iconic character of VALORANT by featuring her in the game’s official trailer. Gamers were even stunned to discover that the voice actress for Jett is incredibly beautiful.

After a period of “info hunting,” gamers were surprised to discover that the voice of Jett is K-pop idol Shannon Arrum Williams. Born on May 26, 1998, she officially debuted as a solo artist in December 2014 with the single titled Daybreak Rain.

Not only is she a music idol, but Shannon is also a true gamer, having spent many years playing titles like OverWatch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Resident Evil 3, Little Nightmares, The Last of Us, and of course, VALORANT. Perhaps her stunning looks and voice were so fitting for VALORANT that Shannon was chosen by Riot Games as the model to create the assassin character Jett.

Not only did she lend her voice, but Shannon also proved to be a real sharpshooter with some incredibly impressive highlights. In fact, when VALORANT officially launched, she almost transitioned to being a streamer for the game.
Let’s admire the beauty of the “mixed rose” who brought Jett to life.
