Zeus Shows Unhappiness Despite Defeating T1 and Gen.G

The reason is that this team has consecutively defeated T1 and Gen.G in the LCK Cup 2025 playoffs and has secured a spot in the winner’s final. HLE’s opponent in the upcoming important match will be DK, who has also been performing very well recently.
Although securing victories against strong opponents like T1 and Gen.G, Zeus himself is not happy at all. “For the audience and fans, the recent victories were truly wonderful as we gave our all in two Bo5 matches. However, due to the Fearless Draft format, we had to bring out unique picks and “signature strategies” in such five-game matches. Nevertheless, our victories over both T1 and Gen.G also demonstrate that HLE is a strong team ready to conquer the championship,” Zeus shared.
Zeus and his teammates need to give their all to overcome DK
Indeed, when comparing HLE and DK, Zeus and his teammates’ journey seems much more difficult. DK in the playoffs has only played one Bo5 match and won quite easily against NS. Meanwhile, HLE had to play from the starting round and then fought through two grueling victories with scores of 3-2 against T1 and Gen.G. Therefore, Zeus’s concerns are valid as HLE must play more than DK and also expose more “signature strategies” for opponents to exploit.
Furthermore, DK’s coaching staff, including Bengi, Poohmandu, and BeryL, are all very knowledgeable about strategies. They will certainly study HLE’s gameplay very carefully after the recent matches and find countermeasures. For HLE, they need to quickly adapt to this and come up with new lineups and surprise picks to face DK.
