“Vandiril“, a YouTuber and expert on exploiting bugs in League of Legends, shared a video on his personal YouTube channel showing how players could easily exploit a severe bug with Poppy.
All players need to do to gain an unbelievable advantage is lock in Poppy and select the Magical Teleport Keystone (Inspiration tree).
If Poppy uses the Teleport and then activates Magical Teleport on the Ancient Stone after just entering the match, her Hammer Shock (Q) suddenly becomes a global ability. Every time the Hammer Keeper uses Q, it will deal damage to all enemy champions, minions, and jungle camps.
Unsurprisingly, Poppy has discouraged all opponents if this bug is fully exploited. If enemies want to avoid continually dying, they have no choice but to stand still on the Ancient Stone – so what’s the point of playing the game?
This situation leads to absurd scenarios where Poppy players can easily rack up hundreds of kills, tormenting opponents until they are forced to surrender.

“After investigating, we found that this bug is related to the Magical Teleport Keystone from the Inspiration tree. We immediately disabled this Keystone and replaced it with the Perfect Timing Keystone at the start of the match“, Riot explained.
“Currently, the bug related to the Magical Teleport Keystone has been completely fixed. Additionally, we will impose a one-month ban on accounts that exploited this bug (time counted from the day of the ban) to deter, and will take harsher action if it happens again.”

It is still unclear how many players will be banned for 30 days. However, it is certain that this will extend the list of over 3,000 banned players in China for abusing bugs earlier this year.
Prior to Poppy, Kayn was also disabled for a few weeks due to a serious bug. Another player exploited a bug related to Ornn’s W ability and received a three-year ban from Riot.

“The player experience is always our top priority, so exploiting bugs is unacceptable. Let’s compete actively and work together to make League of Legends better” – concluded the developers.
However, for the Vietnamese gaming community, this sentence has not yet satisfied the 500 brothers after those heartbreaking losses due to this bug, believing that those who exploited the bug to climb ranks are still too lightly punished with just a one-month account ban compared to what they have “gained”. Fairly speaking, with this bug, most of the fault lies with Riot, especially in their response as this tool bug has been present for quite some time now.

Hopefully, Riot will take this opportunity to thoroughly fix all recently arisen bugs and carefully examine other champions to prevent similar issues from occurring again.
