In the current meta, bottom lane marksmen have become extremely popular with a high ban-pick rate like Aphelios, Ezreal, Varus,… However, when it comes to win rates, these champions do not appear in the top 3 strongest bottom lane duos in the Korean Grandmaster rank. This clearly illustrates how important the synergy between two champions in the bottom lane is compared to the individual marksman.
Here is the list of the top 3 bottom lane duos with insane win rates in the Korean Grandmaster rank:
Ashe ADC vs Yuumi Support – 88.89% win rate

In the early game, Ashe is quite a strong champion thanks to her versatile skill set. She can poke with W, go all-in when activating Q and the keystone, plus the support from Yuumi who both buffs health and provides poke, this duo has considerable damage in the bottom lane. Additionally, when controlled, Ashe can cleanse and retaliate with damage due to having two useful summoner spells from Yuumi. With her E skill, Ashe can provide her team with significant information about the enemy jungle.
Upon reaching level 6, this duo has many combination options for 2v2 fights, such as stunning from afar with Ashe’s R followed by Yuumi’s R. Ashe can also use W to slow down and then combine with Yuumi’s R, waiting for the enemy to Flash before using her R to stun and finish off the prey.
In the later stages of the game, with the summoner spell Cleanse and Yuumi’s protection, Ashe becomes very hard to take down, allowing her to freely deal damage in team fights.

Syndra Bot vs Bard Support – 80.95% win rate

In the laning phase, the Syndra and Bard duo can poke enemies extremely effectively. Especially since both champions can stun, they can always go “all-in” against the opposing marksman. Bard also has a decent healing ability, so Syndra isn’t afraid to trade health when necessary. Additionally, while in lane, Bard can help both champions escape safely with his Magical Journey (E) from a bush or riverbrush.
Upon reaching level 6, Bard’s ability to initiate fights with Tempered Fate (R) is incredibly powerful; as soon as the enemies are no longer “golden”, they will be hit by two overlapping stuns from Syndra and Bard, taking damage until they are eliminated. Furthermore, Syndra can clear minions quickly, enabling both champions to roam early for ganks or to protect major objectives. With Bard, it’s common to see him protecting towers from the Rift Herald, securing dragons, or saving teammates’ lives.
By the late game, this duo can still use the Bard R + Syndra QE combo to control multiple enemies, contributing significantly in terms of crowd control and damage for their team.

Sivir ADC vs Bard Support – 80.00% win rate

Bard continues to appear in this list, showing that this Cosmic Enderman has a significant influence in both the professional scene and ranked matches.
Like Syndra, in the early game, Sivir can clear minions quite quickly with her Q+W. Additionally, with Spell Shield (E), Sivir can block a decent amount of enemy abilities, especially from hot meta champions like Varus. At this point, Sivir can quickly clear minions to create space to control vision, allowing Bard to collect chimes or help the jungler secure resources.
In the mid-game, Sivir can choose to push minions for tower plates or freeze minions to bait enemies for Bard’s R and team up with the jungler to take down foes. Once Sivir has obtained the Soul Reaper, it’s best to clear minions quickly to invade or secure dragons with the jungler.
By the late game, Sivir’s power will be maximized with her extremely strong team fight skill set. Bard’s role will still be to initiate fights with R, creating angles to advance or retreat with E, and continuously crowd control enemies from a distance.
