Challenger has always been the highest rank in League of Legends, and to reach this milestone, players need exceptional skill and game knowledge. In some servers like Korea, the Challenger rank is even where professional players practice skills such as champion handling, decision-making, and movement.

For many, reaching the Challenger rank is a dream, and they hope to achieve this rank at least once in their lifetime (some even thank all their friends and family when they reach Master). But for high-skilled players, they want to challenge themselves even further, not just climb ranks normally.
Previously, we witnessed Showmaker achieve a rank by playing only one champion once, and now we have another unique player who has reached this rank not just once but five times this season in five different positions. The player who achieved this remarkable feat is named MagiFelix, a young talent born in 2000 currently playing for Fnatic’s youth team.

Most players, from beginners to Challengers, usually have a certain playstyle; they won’t use champions that are completely opposite to their usual gameplay. What makes people admire MagiFelix is his incredibly wide champion pool and his ability to play almost any champion in all five positions. This is extremely rare because players who focus on attack with Assassins or Fighters find it very hard to play supportive champions, yet he does it.

With deep understanding and strong skills in all five positions, MagiFelix is a precious gem that Europe currently possesses. The established players in the LEC are gradually nearing the peak of their careers (like Rekkles from Fnatic, for example), and the League of Legends scene in this region needs a new generation to replace them. MagiFelix is perhaps the most prominent name among the young talents in Europe with his impressive achievements.

With LPL currently dominating, Koreans struggling with style changes, and North America falling further behind, Europe may be the biggest hope to overthrow the Chinese. To realize this, the LEC may need to discover more talents like MagiFelix.
