Suning in general and SofM in particular have been on an impressive streak since joining the LPL, and their journey toward the playoffs has become increasingly promising after defeating a tough opponent – Royal Never Give Up.
A year ago, it was RNG that eliminated SofM’s LNG Esports in the playoffs. However, without Uzi, this team has become quite unstable, even though they have a strategic genius like Mata as their coach.
Nevertheless, RNG has never been an easy opponent for any team, as they still have veterans with extensive experience and proven skills like Xiaohu and Ming…

In reality, Suning also had a challenging match. SN had a dream start in game 1 when RNG’s bot lane made a careless move, allowing SofM to “strike from the side” and secure 2 kills for Aphelios in huanfeng’s hands, enabling SN to successfully snowball and take the lead.
However, in game 2, Xiaohu’s Twisted Fate brought the match back to square one, as this mid-laner’s experience left the Suning players struggling.
Game 3 continued to witness the brilliance of AD carry huanfeng with Aphelios. With a triple kill at the 17th minute, SN began to pull ahead in terms of resources and kills, ultimately closing out the game amidst RNG’s helplessness.

The victory over RNG also extended Suning’s winning streak to 6 games – a remarkable achievement for SofM and his teammates. Furthermore, this win helped SN secure 8 victories in the LPL Summer 2020 group stage – a milestone that is likely to guarantee them a playoff spot, with still 3 weeks of competition left for SN to improve their score.
