I bet that during your time playing League of Legends, you have encountered situations like this many times. Consider this a self-assessment for us to reflect on where we still have room for improvement.
Check to see how many of these you’ve fallen for.
Facechecking while you still have wards and skills
Sorry, but in professional matches, this mistake happens too, not just among casual players. As soon as this mistake occurs, you’ll see the chatbox flooded with the word “green” as a gift for that unfortunate play that lands you on the death screen.
There are many skills that can check bushes, yet many players are unnecessarily stingy. They stick their faces in, only to get CC’d and end up on the scoreboard. Disappointing!

Dealing damage and then coldly turning away… while the enemy survives
If you’re annoyed by this, imagine how your teammates feel—ten times more frustrated. There are countless players out there who are so confident they walk up to the tower for the finishing blow, while you have the opportunity to secure a kill and just casually turn away. It’s laughable!
If you want to avoid unnecessary pings, make sure you finish the kill before you head out, alright?
Completely ignoring damage calculations
I’m not saying you need to calculate damage down to the last detail like professional players, but at the very least, you should know how much damage you can deal before thinking about diving in for kills.
A Zed with a score of 0/10/2 has no damage to deal, yet you confidently think your ultimate can make anyone disappear in one hit. This is what we call being green, not confident, guys.

Pinging teammates to fight but not paying attention to whether they follow you
This is a common situation for many players, even the pros. They see everything is going well, feeling confident, so they ping their teammates, urging them to engage and finish off the enemies.
After diving in with all sorts of flashy moves and then dying, they turn around to find their teammates standing a mile away, pinging furiously at them. What happened? Just being too green, that’s all.

Trying to get kills only to give the enemy a shutdown
You might be respected by your teammates, frequently getting kills without worrying about gold or items. However, this can lead to overconfidence, charging in recklessly, and ultimately gifting 1000 gold to the enemy team.
Doing this just three times can flip the game around, turning a winning situation straight into a loss for your team. Be careful, you might end up with a bunch of reports, no joke.

Taking major objectives in front of the enemy
In this world, anything can happen. Supporting a Baron steal is not something you haven’t seen before. Taking major objectives in front of the enemy should only happen under one condition: when all five enemies are dead.
My sincere advice is don’t trust too much in your jungler’s smite skills. If you want peace of mind, don’t be so green anymore, alright?
How many of these mistakes have you made?
