It would have been wonderful for the audience to immerse themselves in the offline atmosphere in Ho Chi Minh City for this major event of FIFA Online 4 Vietnam if it weren’t for the complicated developments of COVID-19.

If it weren’t for Tô Trung Hiếu’s incredibly calm handling, perhaps the audience of FVNC 2020 wouldn’t have been able to enjoy such a thrilling and emotional final.

LET’S REVIEW THE HIGHLIGHTS OF FVNC NATIONAL FINALS 2020
Match Day 31/07: The branching round created many unexpected comebacks in the finals

MATCH 1: DIH Esport F4 wins 3 – 0 against Centuries Gaming
The opening match was too easy for DIH Esport F4, as Mist single-handedly “carried” the entire Centuries Gaming team without needing help from his two teammates Mesut and Maestro in MATCH 1’s lineup.
Defeating the “monument” Tô Trung Hiếu with youthful energy and strong attacking play, Mist continued his momentum to beat the remaining big brother of CG, CG LostAM in the penalty shootout. In Game 3, although CG Ibrobot excellently kept the score balanced at 0-0 to reach the penalty shootout for the ticket to the winner’s bracket, Mist demonstrated his superiority as a consistently high-performing player on the penalty spot.

MATCH 2: Walking Chicken sends ProGamer to the losers’ bracket
With the lineup of Walking Chicken, Sniper – Lâm Anh Tú kicked off with his victory over the veteran player ProG Nambinhminh thanks to a “comeback” on the penalty spot.

Not letting Sniper “celebrate” for too long, ProG TeeCaprio quickly regained form for his team with a 1-0 victory

Thành Hòa maintained a clean “clear” against ProGamer with two 1-0 victories over ProG TeeCaprio and ProG Bae, contributing to Walking Chicken’s advancement to the winners’ bracket.
Match Day 02/08: The fierce finals and the convincing comeback from Centuries Gaming
MATCH 3: Only one ticket to advance for the two teams, ProGamer stops at joint third place
Playing the role of “clear-man” – CG Ibrobot single-handedly eliminated all three players of ProGamer with his aggressive attacking play and solid defense. Only in the match against Tee Caprio did both players adopt extremely cautious strategies to avoid conceding a single goal and proceeded to tense penalty shootout. Luck did not smile upon ProGamer as Pogba in Tee Caprio’s hands failed to break through the opponent’s net, losing the ticket to advance in the finals.

MATCH 4: The “Winged Lion” DIH Esport F4 advances to the finals against “Walking Chicken”
Two teams with extensive international experience faced off: DIH Esport F4 vs Walking Chicken. The match saw the absence of “clear-man” Mist, but Mesut performed well as the team’s “carrier” after Lee Hariii’s first-game loss, while Maestro continued to leisurely celebrate his victory.

MATCH 5: The battle for the last ticket to the finals, “Walking Chicken” steps back against Centuries Gaming
After CG Ibrobot’s opening defeat against Ngọc Vũ Gogi Gogi, the eldest brother CG LostAM – Quách Trúc Lam “transformed” by defeating the remaining three players of Walking Chicken. A relatively easy victory with a score of 2-1 against GogiGogi and winning in the penalty shootout against Sniper helped boost his form.

Maintaining this good form, along with his somewhat “crazy” solid gameplay, he captivated the audience with a convincing 3-0 victory over Thành Hòa, officially leading Centuries Gaming to a successful comeback to the finals!

THE KENDO FINAL – BO5 WAS EXTREMELY TENSE AND THRILLING
It seemed that Mist could become the “clear-man” by convincingly defeating both CG Ibrobot and CG LostAM, but the “monument” Tô Trung Hiếu proved that his iconic status is not easy to forget with a convincing victory over Mist, Mesut, and a bit of bad luck losing to Maestro in the penalty shootout.

Once again, congratulations and heartfelt thanks for the top-notch performances and dedication of all four teams that contributed to a successful season of FVNC 2020.
See you in the upcoming tournaments of FIFA Online 4.
