As a Vietnamese DOTA gosu from the early days, Nguyễn “Lis” Minh Nhân is undoubtedly a significant figure with 12 years of experience in this game. Therefore, it’s no surprise that his team won the championship in the first week of the DRK DOTA Weekly Cup.
As the saying goes, “the wave behind pushes the wave in front,” but it seems this stubborn wave, Nguyễn Minh Nhân, will continue to swim long with the DOTA community in Vietnam. Always ranking among the top Vietnamese DOTA gosus, Nguyễn Minh Nhân is currently the coach of 496 – the team that represented Vietnam to win the Bronze Medal at the recent SEAGAME 30.
Participating in the DRK DOTA Weekly Cup, leveraging local resources, the other 4 members of the NMN lineup (team captain Lis confirms his own status by naming the team after himself) are either currently or have previously played for 496. They include carry Nghĩa Trương, a Vietnamese player who has reached top 4 in SEA. There’s also Red and Yasy, two members currently competing under 496’s banner. The last member is none other than Misa, the most popular DOTA streamer in Vietnam right now.
With a young and energetic lineup, Nhân Lis sped to victory without encountering too many obstacles, even against their opponents in the finals, the “Little Birds” team, which has an average MMR of 8k. On the same day, Lis also won another Dota tournament for students, where he served as a lecturer for his famous “open legs” curriculum.
Thus, NNM and NCCB are the first two teams to secure spots in the Onlan round of the DRK DOTA Cup in Da Nang. It is known that the DRK sponsor has already prepared a 5-star stay for 8 teams competing this time at the DRK – John Boutique Villa, aiming to provide an unprecedented experience for the participating players.
