Quicksilver
With Season 4 of Teamfight Tactics featuring many champions with crowd control abilities, Quicksilver is an essential item. This item allows champions to deal maximum damage while surviving on the battlefield, making it highly suitable for the current meta, which includes many physical damage carries. From backline units like Ashe, Jhin, Aphelios to frontline names like Warwick, Yasuo… they all need Quicksilver.

However, combining Quicksilver early is quite a bad idea as it does not provide damage for your team composition. This item should only be combined when there are about 4-5 players left in the match. At this point, you will accurately identify the dangers threatening your team’s carries. In the earlier stages, damage-oriented items will outperform Quicksilver significantly.
Burning Cloak
If you are lucky enough to obtain this item early, winning streaks become incredibly easy. Tank champions in Teamfight Tactics typically have relatively high durability, allowing them to survive a long time in fights. This only increases the burn damage of Burning Cloak even more. Furthermore, this item also has a 50% healing reduction effect, making it very difficult for opponents to survive against your tank line.

Burning Cloak also allows players who are having a rough start to not suffer too much in the early game. If you do not have items like B.F. Sword, Wooden Bow, or Combat Gloves, combine Burning Cloak immediately to cover your damage weakness. This item is considered perfect in the early and mid-game, potentially carrying you to victory quite easily. Champions that should hold Burning Cloak include Hecarim, Tahm Kench, Garen, and Maokai.
Guardian Angel
Also a protective item for carries, but Guardian Angel is used quite differently than Quicksilver. This item is often used on champions with strong damaging abilities or effects. Guardian Angel gives those units another chance to use their abilities and increases the chance of turning the tide in a round. Typical champions for using Guardian Angel include Evelynn, Kennen, and Kayn.

Yasuo is a special case as this champion, although not having an extremely powerful ability, utilizes the effect of Guardian Angel very well. By the end of the match, Yasuo has an additional 80% lifesteal from the 2nd level of Challenger. Combined with using Infinity Edge, he can recover incredibly well. When revived by Guardian Angel, Yasuo can survive effectively with the aforementioned lifesteal effect. Therefore, if you want to use Yasuo, Guardian Angel is an essential item.
