Ambush Composition in TFT Season 13
Once a dominant force in the early stages of TFT Season 13, the Ambush composition has faced continuous nerfs and lost much of its former strength. However, this will change significantly in patch 13.7 as Riot Games has decided to increase Camille’s base Attack Damage and Jinx’s skill damage. This is a noteworthy adjustment as the Ambush composition will have a much greater damage output in the late game when Jinx is fully equipped.

Moreover, this composition will reach its power spike quite early due to Camille’s buff, creating a powerful snowball effect. This is a crucial factor for a melee-focused reroll composition like Ambush, as it needs to exert enough pressure on opponents’ health to have more chances of victory in the late game. Thus, the Ambush composition is expected to make a strong comeback in the upcoming patch 13.7, potentially even changing the game’s meta.
Conqueror Composition in TFT Season 13
Designed with a powerful snowballing capability to overwhelm opponents with a large resource pool, the Conqueror composition has been struggling in TFT Season 13. The reason stems from the fact that many key units in the early game for this trait have received damage nerfs, making it extremely difficult to stack and gain rewards. In patch 13.6, Draven was heavily nerfed again, further complicating the playability of the Conqueror trait.

Perhaps Riot Games wants to change this, so they introduced a series of significant changes to strengthen the Conqueror trait. First, the additional attack stats gained with each reward for this trait have been significantly increased. Next, Swain in melee form has been buffed to enhance his durability, making this composition very resilient in the mid-game. These changes will help the Conqueror trait increase its damage output and survivability significantly, allowing this composition to return strong in the new patch.
Elise Carry Composition in TFT Season 13
In the very first version of TFT Season 13, Elise proved to be an incredibly strong carry when used in a ranged form. The damage from this unit’s abilities was so “insane” that Riot Games had to urgently nerf Elise in subsequent patches. This led to the complete disappearance of the Elise carry playstyle, and this unit is now typically used as a tank.

However, Elise is likely to make a powerful comeback in the upcoming patch 13.7 as this unit receives a significant increase in skill damage. Additionally, two other shapeshifter units, Swain and Gangplank, have also been given enhanced durability in melee form, making them incredibly resilient. This will create a lot of space for Elise to freely unleash her abilities from the backline and quickly eliminate opponents. Therefore, it won’t be surprising if the Elise carry playstyle returns and rises to the top of the meta in patch 13.7.
