Faker becomes the latest figure involved in T1’s drama – Smash – Gumayusi
In these days, perhaps more than anyone else, T1 fans are the ones eagerly awaiting the 2025 Regular Seasons. The LCK Cup has concluded, and T1 missed the chance to participate in the First Stand. Meanwhile, the anticipation shifts to T1’s lineup for the upcoming major tournament. However, a recent error by Riot has pulled Faker into the ongoing drama between T1, Smash, and Gumayusi over the past time.

Specifically, in a recent update on Riot’s website regarding T1’s roster, player Smash was unexpectedly placed in the Mid Lane position while Poby was positioned in the Top Lane. However, while the error regarding Poby’s position was overlooked by the community, the mistake concerning Smash’s position has sparked controversy.

While many fans are simply joking about Riot’s mistake, some T1 fans are feeling the tension from the recent dramas and are not hesitating to criticize the publisher or even suggesting that this is a “tactic” by T1. Nevertheless, the majority of opinions seem to sarcastically target Smash, especially since not long ago, he had “turned on” Faker himself.

Perhaps even Faker cannot reassure fans in this drama
Typically, during past troubles, Faker would sometimes make statements to help calm fans. However, at this moment, even though he has returned to streaming, the T1 captain has made almost no statements as the situation escalates. It is worth noting that during the period when Zeus left and was criticized by T1 fans, Faker stepped up to defend his junior, leading fans to be more lenient about the departure of T1’s former Top Laner.

Whether Faker is unable to speak out or simply chooses not to is unknown. However, it seems that only when T1’s 2025 Regular Seasons lineup is released will this drama settle, otherwise, it will likely continue to linger at least throughout this season.
