For League of Legends players, Flash is an incredibly popular and important summoner spell. Ironically, a “unlucky player” encountered a situation where the Flash spell was locked twice. This caused a player with the Reddit username “u/Mr_Windowsill” to lose two consecutive ranked matches.
The bug related to Flash just made me lose 2 ranked games in a row. It simply prevents you from using Flash for the rest of the match.
So when does this bug occur? Basically, this is a bug related to the Magical Footwear rune and the Flash spell. When you use a skill that dashes or teleports, for example in the video with Maokai using W – Twisted Advance, while the Magical Footwear returns to regular Flash, this summoner spell will be locked.
Comments on “u/Mr_Windowsill”‘s post also indicate that this bug occurs with Urgot’s E – Disdain, the combo of Headbutt – Pulverize from Alistar. Even Blitzcrank is affected by this bug.
I encountered this bug with Blitzcrank. I believe this bug happens with all abilities that put Flash on cooldown while Magical Footwear resets at that same time.
