Olaf
In essence, Olaf has always been one of the strongest 4-cost champions in Teamfight Tactics Season 4.5. The only weakness of this champion is that he is overly dependent on items (Infinity Edge, Runaan’s Hurricane, or Death’s Blade), making it very difficult to build a composition around Olaf. Furthermore, the Warlord team already has other very strong carries like Swain, Aurelion Sol, or Shyvana, so Olaf has a hard time showcasing his power.

In patch 11.4, this champion has received a significant buff at level 1 and 2 stars, as Olaf’s skill now always provides 50% splash damage. Combined with the damage increase effect from the Butcher system, Olaf can deal a lot of damage right from level 1 star. Of course, with his champion nature, Olaf still relies heavily on items to maximize his power. However, the moment this unit can carry the team in patch 11.4 will be earlier than before.
Tryndamere
With Nidalee being very popular in patch 11.3, players using the Warlord trait rarely utilize Tryndamere’s power. The reason is quite understandable; players often have to spend a lot of gold to roll for Nidalee, Jarvan IV, or 3-star Katarina in the mid-game. Therefore, you will have very little gold left to invest in Tryndamere, a 4-cost champion. Gradually, this champion has been overlooked by Teamfight Tactics players despite having a strong champion nature.

This is likely to change in the upcoming patch 11.4 as Tryndamere’s Spinning Slash skill has been heavily buffed by Riot. Specifically, this skill will allow Tryndamere to move faster and farther than before, enabling this unit to reach the backline carries of the opponent. With Nidalee being heavily nerfed in patch 11.4, it’s understandable that Warlord players would abandon the hyper-roll playstyle. At that point, Tryndamere will emerge as a highly valuable carry for this composition.
Yone
One of the reasons Yone, despite being buffed, is still not utilized by players is that this champion does not deal a significant amount of burst damage. In a meta filled with hyper-roll compositions, a unit that merely amplifies damage but costs 5 gold like Yone is rated relatively low. In the upcoming patch 11.4, Yone’s damage output will receive a powerful buff to address this issue.

The changes to Yone will make this champion very strong right at level 1 star, allowing him to deal a tremendous amount of damage. Therefore, Yone will become an excellent option for increasing damage in the late game. Even if you don’t have enough damage items for Yone, the armor/magic resistance reduction effect of this champion is still worth the investment for players. It’s highly likely that Yone will return to the status of a top-tier unit in Teamfight Tactics in the upcoming patch 11.4.
