Tristana – Dragon Clan
Essentially, Tristana is not a weak champion, but the meta in Teamfight Tactics over the past few patches has led players to “discard” her. In the meta of patch 11.3, many champions can deal damage to the backline such as Diana with the Assassin trait, Nidalee with her spears, or Nasus with his Wither ability. Therefore, Tristana had no chance to shine in the previous meta as she was eliminated too quickly regardless of how strong the frontline was.

However, with the aforementioned champions being nerfed and the Dragon Clan growing stronger, Tristana has become the perfect piece for hyper-roll players. The advice for building a Tristana hyper-roll composition is to equip her with a Statikk Shiv as soon as possible. This item interacts exceptionally well with Tristana’s skill, allowing her to deal a massive amount of magic damage.

Fiora – Enlightenment
The Enlightenment composition in season 4 is indeed quite challenging to build. The reason lies in the fact that champions of this trait do not possess strong damage-dealing abilities during the mid-game. Players wanting to use the Enlightenment composition must level up to 8 as quickly as possible and funnel all resources into Morgana and Talon. This is extremely risky because it is rare to roll the right Morgana or Talon at level 8. To address the issue of damage shortage in the mid-game, the Fiora hyper-roll composition was born.

The playstyle of this composition still adheres to the general principle of hyper-roll compositions, which is to not buy experience and focus on upgrading the 1-cost champion, in this case Fiora, to 3 stars. This champion can serve as a tank for the Enlightenment composition thanks to her Riposte skill. If equipped with items like Sunfire Cape or Lightning Bow, Fiora can deal significant damage. She can carry your composition long enough to reach level 8 and roll for Talon and Morgana.

Mage
The Mage composition also faces similar issues as Enlightenment, being too reliant on the 4-cost champion Aurelion Sol. Champions like Annie and Lulu do not deal much damage, and Veigar takes time to accumulate power. Therefore, players have turned to the hyper-roll strategy to achieve the 3-star champion power threshold in the mid-game to survive until they can acquire Aurelion Sol.

Among the 2 one-cost champions of the Mage trait, Brand is the more frequently chosen piece for hyper-roll. This is because Brand’s trait – class combination is more attractive than Twisted Fate’s, allowing players to easily pivot to a Dragon Clan composition. To maximize Brand’s power, you should equip him with as many Luden’s Echoes as possible, as it synergizes well with his Fire Pillar skill. If possible, equipping a Rod of Ages on Lulu is also a good option when building this composition.
