Assemble the Death’s Blade Early
In patch 11.4, Riot has nerfed the Death’s Blade by reducing the amount of Attack Damage per stack. However, they have increased the base Attack Damage this item provides. This makes the Death’s Blade an extremely strong item in the early game, granting up to 40 Attack Damage (not counting the stats from 2 B.F. Swords). Therefore, if you have strong physical carry champions like Zed, Sivir, or Yasuo in the early game, equipping the Death’s Blade on them is a strategy worth considering.

If you’re playing a composition centered around Neeko, equip the Statikk Shiv
The Statikk Shiv is an item that Riot Games has completely revamped in patch 11.4. The damage dealing effect of this item can now critically hit and reduce the target’s magic resistance. In return, this item no longer deals additional damage to shielded units, and the number of targets affected by the Statikk Shiv is limited to just 4.

So why should you use this item when playing around Neeko? The reason lies in the fact that the Vanguard – Legend composition with Neeko as the carry has too many tank champions, and this champion is the only one responsible for dealing damage. Having the ability to reduce magic resistance from the Statikk Shiv will help Neeko deal damage more effectively. The Mage composition does not need the Statikk Shiv as these system units already have plenty of damage.

Do not equip the Fire Cloak on champions with dashing skills
The Fire Cloak has received a slight nerf in patch 11.4, with the burn damage effect now occurring every 2.5 seconds instead of 2 seconds. For normal tank champions, this change does not have a significant impact. However, for characters with dashing abilities like Rakan, Jarvan IV, or Shen, this nerf will make them less effective when using the Fire Cloak.

The reason is that when these champions use their dashing skills, the number of targets affected by the Fire Cloak will be fewer than before. This means that the damage output from these characters will be relatively reduced. Perhaps players of Teamfight Tactics need to find alternative options to replace the Fire Cloak on these champions, such as the Thunder Bow.
If you see someone playing Morgana, assemble the Quicksilver immediately
Besides the ability to reduce magic resistance and deal annoying damage, Morgana’s skill has another strength: it reduces 40% Attack Damage. This makes Morgana a relatively strong counter against physical damage compositions. The special thing about Morgana is that her skill cannot be interrupted by the Trap Claw or Quicksilver.

However, this has changed in the upcoming patch 11.4, where the Quicksilver gains the ability to negate Attack Damage reduction. Therefore, this item will become a very powerful and comprehensive defensive item for carry champions that players should equip, especially when they see their opponents have Morgana.
