After joining Cerberus Esports following two VCS championship titles with Team Flash, EGO was expected to become the “new jungle prodigy” following in the footsteps of veterans SofM and Levi. However, this young talent has been mysteriously absent from the CES roster lately.
Recently, Nguyễn “EGO” Khánh Hòa drew attention with a rather emotional status update. This is also the first time that the former Team Flash player has spoken about his current situation. At this point, the community learned that EGO’s absence from competition was not due to professional issues, but rather health concerns. Here is EGO’s heartfelt message:
“I want to tell everyone that I’m okay and I will be fine, but who will be there to support me every day until everything returns to normal.”

From this personal update, fans can understand that EGO’s condition is worse than initially predicted. For a young and talented gamer like EGO, having to sit out and watch matches that he once participated in is incredibly difficult. On the other hand, it seems that the young man is feeling quite lonely, which may have prompted him to publicly share his situation.
Immediately, on his streaming channel, commentator Hoàng Luân called on the Vietnamese League of Legends community to send EGO encouraging messages to support him.
While the exact health issue affecting EGO is unknown, in response to commentator Hoàng Luân’s call, the VCS community flooded EGO’s personal page with countless well wishes. Notably, his former teammate Nguyễn “Slayder” Linh Vương also sent a message to EGO, reminding him, “If anything happens, just text me.”

The VCS is rapidly developing, and EGO is considered one of the most talented young players. At just 19 years old, his future is still bright. Like all fans of League of Legends in Vietnam, and specifically those who support EGO, Team Flash, or Cerberus Esports, we wish EGO good health and hope to see him dominate the Summoner’s Rift again soon.
