God of Wealth
Considered one of the most unique traits in Teamfight Tactics, God of Wealth has always been favored by players since Season 4 launched. The reason is quite understandable; the “huge” rewards that the God of Wealth effect brings are always the desire of gamers. Who wouldn’t want to collect many Neeko’s Help, assemble a 5-cost 3-star champion, and then win the final victory?
However, the actual effectiveness of the God of Wealth composition is far from what players imagine. To obtain the substantial rewards from the God of Wealth trait, you must lose many rounds beforehand. This forces players to pay a steep price in health and puts them in a precarious situation. If you aren’t lucky enough to upgrade your composition and secure a win, maintaining a losing streak to the death is a common fate for God of Wealth players.
Zed – Spirit
Essentially, this composition rose to prominence in the first half of Season 4 when Zed was still a Shadow champion. With a unique playstyle that doesn’t require a frontline to win, the Zed – Spirit composition has captivated many players. Even when Zed no longer has the Shadow trait in Season 4.5, many players still frequently opt for this composition to compete in Teamfight Tactics. Unfortunately, the Zed – Spirit team has become significantly weaker than before.
With the loss of the Shadow trait, Zed no longer has the ability to become invisible and evade the attention of enemy units. This significantly reduces Zed’s safety, forcing players to upgrade this unit to 3 stars very early to have a chance at placing in the top 4. Moreover, people have also recognized the value of Spirit units and are using champions like Yuumi and Kindred more. This makes it much harder for fans of the Zed – Spirit team to upgrade their compositions.
Blade Master – Divine
If you’ve ever played Teamfight Tactics Season 3, you would understand the overwhelming power of the champion Kayle. Therefore, when Riot Games brought her back in Season 4.5, Kayle immediately became an extremely hot champion used by many players. Combined with Riot reworking the Divine trait in patch 11.3, the Blade Master – Divine composition theoretically should be very powerful. However, in reality, this composition is not as strong as it seems.
As a hot champion, Kayle is fiercely contested by many players. Moreover, this champion (and the Divine trait) was heavily nerfed in patch 11.4. Therefore, the actual damage output of this composition is not as significant as many might imagine. Not to mention that this composition is overly reliant on Kayle alone, making it vulnerable to team comps with strong crowd control.
The advice is for players to ensure they have the “core” items for Kayle, such as Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Rapid Firecannon, and Quicksilver, if they want to build around this unit. Otherwise, it’s best to switch to a different composition altogether.
