Giantslayer
The truth is that Giantslayer has never been considered a weak item. However, it is very rare for this item to be assembled because the components of Giantslayer can easily become other stronger items. For example, the Tear of the Goddess is often prioritized to be combined into Infinity Edge to increase damage output for the carry. If you are playing a magic damage team, Blue Buff, with its ability to provide abundant energy, will be a more reasonable choice.

However, when patch 11.5 launched and players tend to assemble items very early to maintain health, Giantslayer has shone brightly. This item provides too much skill damage for the team in the early and mid-game, so your team’s damage output will be significantly stronger. Furthermore, the popularity of support units like Yuumi, Janna, or even Sivir also leads to more Giantslayer being assembled. The reason is quite simple; these are the units that use this item the best.

Luden’s Echo
In patch 11.5, Mage compositions are emerging as a formidable force in the Teamfight Tactics meta. This has made Brand an incredibly hot piece because he is the strongest Mage unit in the early and mid-game. This unit is not only a strong carry but can also hold items for Aurelion Sol. Therefore, the item closely associated with Brand, Luden’s Echo, has also become stronger than ever. This duo simply deals too much damage in the early game.

Besides the strong interaction with Brand’s skills, players can also equip Luden’s Echo on other Mage units while still ensuring effectiveness. When playing a Mage composition, you will use 2 units Aatrox and Sejuani as the main tanks. The common point of these units is their strong crowd control abilities, so when the Mage champion casts their spell, there is a very high chance that the effect of Luden’s Echo will also be activated.
Stormrazor
With the return of the Kennen – Guardian composition, Stormrazor has truly “revived” in patch 11.5. This item interacts exceptionally well with the skill Storm’s Fury by reducing the magic resistance of many enemy champions. The frightening aspect of this item is that it does not need to be directly equipped on Kennen to be effective. Players can equip Stormrazor on other units like Aatrox, Jarvan IV, and place them next to Kennen to benefit.

Furthermore, the magic resistance reduction effect from Stormrazor also amplifies the damage of extremely popular compositions like Kayle – Reaper, Vanguard – Legend. Essentially, these are compositions that deal a lot of magic damage from a distance, so the carries cannot directly hold Stormrazor. Instead, frontline units will have to carry this item to support the damage dealing for Kayle or Neeko at the backline.
