In Teamfight Tactics, alongside some overly “broken” champions, equipment is constantly contested and unique metas arise every day, one of the things that concerns and frustrates players is: to see the effect of an item, they have to hold the component items and place them close together.
Specifically, when you have 2 component items, if you right-click on each item, it will only show the list of completed items, and you won’t be able to know exactly what each item does unless you combine them into a complete item.

This is extremely inconvenient because once you have combined them into a completed item, you must either use that item or discard it if it doesn’t fit your playstyle and team composition, leading to many “oops” moments that greatly affect the game’s outcome and player morale. Moreover, new players looking to familiarize themselves with the unique item system of TFT will encounter numerous difficulties.
However, according to Alicia – the UX (User Experience) lead of TFT, in patch 11.11, the situation where players have to move component items close together to know the effects of the completed items will come to an end. Riot will update the feature that allows players to simply right-click on a component item and see the full effects of the completed items crafted from those components.

This has excited the TFT gaming community greatly. For newbies, this feature will help them quickly understand which items are suitable.

Currently, this function will officially be implemented in the 11.11 update. However, this can be seen as a very psychological move from Riot, contributing significantly to making TFT more accessible and thereby expanding the player base in the future.
