Yasuo – Spirit Master
At the early stage of patch 11.11, there were too many reroll compositions at level 6 that became incredibly powerful and dominated the meta. Therefore, maintaining a large amount of gold and health to seek a 3-star Yasuo at level 7 was extremely difficult, causing this composition to be underutilized by Teamfight Tactics players. However, as the meta gradually shifted towards playing around Zombies, this composition has started to become popular again. In fact, the top 4 placement rate for the Yasuo – Zombie team is currently very high.

By using Trundle as a main tank, players can effectively counter the Transforming Zombie late in the game. Trundle’s ability to steal health, damage, and defensive stats can make the Transforming Zombie significantly “weaker” and easier to eliminate. Moreover, the Yasuo – Spirit Master composition does not rely on backline carries, so the Transforming Zombie can only target frontline units like Trundle, Mordekaiser, or Pantheon.

6 Spirits
Just when it seemed to have completely disappeared from the meta, the 6 Spirits team made a remarkable comeback towards the end of patch 11.11. Essentially, this composition has not changed since the beginning of the season, with Karma remaining the main carry, supported by 2 Demon units, Volibear and Ivern. The reason the Spirit team is being used more again is the incredibly strong healing effect, surpassing the explosive damage potential of the Transforming Zombie.

To take advantage of the high attack speed of the Transforming Zombie after it charges towards the target, players often combine items like Infinity Edge or Runaan’s Hurricane. However, with a 90% maximum health recovery effect at 6 champions, the entire Spirit composition is not afraid of the significant damage from the Transforming Zombie. After surviving the first ability cast, units like Karma and Riven can easily “decimate” the Zombie composition with their high damage output.

Legion – Mystic
Similar to the Yasuo – Spirit Master composition, the Legion – Mystic team is also unafraid of the Transforming Zombie’s ability to dive into the backline. Essentially, the carries of this composition, such as Mordekaiser, Yasuo, and Riven, are all melee champions, and you can use Draven as a unit to “bait” the Transforming Zombie. If you can activate the Mystic effect early on, Draven will not be afraid of the Zombie race since he already has the ability to be immune to crowd control.

We must remember that most compositions relying on the Zombie race do not have a particularly “tanky” frontline. With high attack speed and tremendous damage, the Legion team can quickly wipe out the Zombie composition, especially Riven with a build focused on Runaan’s Hurricane. At that point, no matter how strong the Transforming Zombie of your team is, it cannot single-handedly take down all the remaining units.
