Essentially, the meta of Teamfight Tactics post-update 11.13 is not very different from the version before, where the Divine, Celestial, and Reaver compositions remain strong. This makes the competition for carries among players extremely fierce. To tackle this issue, T1’s Challenger player – Bebe872 has turned to a Long Tribe – Archer composition as an effective ranking strategy.
According to Bebe872’s experience, the advantage of this composition is that you can be strong very early and maintain a long winning streak in the early game. As soon as you have a 2-star Udyr, players can consider maintaining a winning streak. Moreover, with the effects of the Long Tribe, you can have Sett or even a 2-star Ashe by stage 3 with enormous damage.
The way Bebe872 starts with this composition is by buying all the Fighter units available in the shop. The large health pool of the Fighter system will help players defend extremely well in the early game and transition to the 3 Long Tribe threshold very easily with Sett. You should also consider leveling up in rounds 1-4 to increase the chances of encountering 3-cost champions, including Ashe and Zyra, in stage 2 afterward.

Moving into the mid-game phase (levels 6-7), you should pay attention to purchasing Pantheon and Trundle to gain the Warrior effect alongside Udyr. With the Long Tribe eggs, you can easily upgrade Udyr to 3 stars without spending too much gold. At that point, the shield from the Warrior effect that this unit possesses will be extremely large and help you have a very strong frontline.

According to Bebe872, you can sell Sett early to make room for Archer units to supplement the damage in the mid-game. The purpose of the Long Tribe in this composition is just to help you upgrade Ashe to 2 stars as soon as possible. Therefore, you do not necessarily have to keep the Long Tribe for too long, especially in the late game. If you are having bad luck, you should roll down to 10/20 gold at rounds 3-1 or 3-2 to upgrade your composition in order to maintain as much health as possible.

By the late game phase (after level 8), what you should do is aim for the 4 Archers threshold as soon as possible. Kindred is a very important unit at this stage as it provides excellent survivability for the surrounding units. You can also combine Kindred with units like Lux, Morgana, Rell to enhance the tankiness of the composition, preventing it from taking magical damage too quickly.

Regarding item building, Bebe872 advises always taking the Wooden Bow in the shared selection round. This item will help you craft 2 important items: Runaan’s Hurricane and Giant Slayer for Ashe. These two items help Ashe reduce the armor/magic resistance of opponents and increase damage for all 4 Archer units. As for Aphelios, just equipping this unit with a Giant Slayer is enough to take down the enemy team.
