Viego is perhaps one of the most controversial champions in League of Legends. Just as “dominant” as some other names, both new and old like Akali, Gwen… but Viego is riddled with bugs. And in fact, any champion interacting with the Ruined King can encounter issues.
However, if Viego were still receiving a “ban” like before, not many would care about his bugs anymore. But if Viego is now appearing in professional matches and the latest bug relates to one of the champions that is showing signs of a comeback after a long absence, like Ziggs, that becomes something to pay special attention to.

Recently, “bug hunter” Vandiril discovered a rather severe bug occurring when Viego interacts with Ziggs. Specifically, if Viego steals Ziggs’ body and then steals another champion’s body (in the clip, it’s Galio and Thresh), then Ziggs’ E – Minefield will interact with Galio’s Q – Shield of Durand or Thresh’s W – Dark Passage, creating numerous tornadoes or lanterns according to the patterns of Ziggs’ Mines.
Interestingly, these abilities can completely deal damage (if it’s Shield of Durand) or players can click on any of the lanterns thrown out and still fly straight to Thresh’s position, just as these two abilities are designed to work.
As mentioned above, Viego, Thresh, Galio, and Ziggs are all champions frequently used in professional tournaments, especially in the current Summer Split. Therefore, such a bug could completely disrupt the game, affecting both players and spectators if Riot does not resolve it thoroughly.
