In the match between DWG KIA and T1 during the sixth week of LCK Summer 2021, in game three, Keria surprised many with his performance on the champion Thresh. Not only did he not die at all, but he also achieved a KDA of 6/0/6. Notably, the rune that Thresh used that day was Predator instead of Aftershock as usually seen.
Keria also mentioned that he has only used Thresh three times this Summer, but he referenced the playstyle of his colleague and opponent from Nongshim RedForce, Kellin, and made some adjustments. However, Keria acknowledged that he does not prefer this build and has only used the Predator rune for Thresh about twice since he started playing League of Legends.

Both Keria and Kellin use Predator Thresh as the primary branch with Domination – Predator – Simple Attack – Zombie Ward – Relentless Hunter to maximize the damage that Thresh brings, increasing vision and movement speed outside of combat. This not only adds a significant damage source for the entire team but also makes Thresh – a champion with a lot of crowd control – even more useful.
However, in the secondary rune branch, Keria opted for Nimbus Cloak – Water Walking instead of the Inspiration branch like Kellin. With this rune set, Thresh can confidently move forward and hold lanes or team fights for as long as possible.

Keria’s creativity in operating Predator Thresh not only brought him many advantages in both team fights and the laning phase but also earned T1’s Support a perfect KDA, as well as sharing the MVP title with Canna. Moreover, the victory over DK helped T1 somewhat reaffirm their position in the race for the LCK championship and a spot at the World Championship after a series of challenges this Summer.
