After many days of waiting with Teamfight Tactics Season 15, Season 16 has officially launched on the PBE testing server. Season 16 is particularly anticipated because it is the first season that TFT will truly transform with 100 new champions (compared to the usual 60), not to mention many new mechanics and the highly popular national pet Gwen Tí Nị that have gamers eagerly awaiting its release.
Therefore, as soon as the PBE testing server opened, a large number of players flooded into the queue – resulting in many gamers having to wait in line for up to 2-3 hours just to experience the new season.

The queue times reaching up to 3 hours are very rare in recent seasons due to a lack of attractions for users to experience beforehand, but with Season 16, the long queue has returned strongly. This shows the high expectations and hopes that players around the world have for Season 16, and December 3rd is sure to be a day marked on many players’ calendars to battle on the official server.
With 100 champions, nearly double the usual traits/class types, not to mention the unique creations and champion unlocking mechanics, there will be countless strategies available – this is the most appealing aspect attracting users to experience right now on the PBE server. In fact, some players after a few games have even called it “the best season ever” – a statement rarely heard in previous seasons!!!

A rough count shows that the community is going crazy over special traits like Shurima – which helps upgrade all units to 3-star status, featuring 4-5 gold champions. For those who want to reroll, there are Yordles with a lineup of “small but mighty” champions, or the option to transform into powerful Darkins with new creations…

Of course, for those who appreciate aesthetics, the new national pets and arenas are also a point of attraction for them to explore on the PBE. It is known that after a long period, Gwen has a new pet form named Crystal Pink Gwen and a dreamy arena to go along with it.

For those who don’t know, the Vietnamese gaming community has a famous saying: “Everything loses to Gwen” due to the cuteness of this pet from its basic form to various other forms like Sweet Tiny Tea Shop, Purple Spirit Energy… And now, as the Crystal Pink variant prepares for release, the community is equally excited for the day they can experience this new pet in Season 16.

Overall, the atmosphere preparing for Season 16 is extremely positive, with the community racing to experience the PBE version beforehand, and households discussing whether this champion is strong or if that composition is powerful. Clearly, after a rather bland ending phase of TFT Season 15, players are eagerly looking forward to the changes of the new season, and this is seen as a very positive sign for TFT Season 16.
TFT Season 16 will launch on all global servers on December 3rd. Let’s look forward to a “huge” season with enough strategies to keep every player engaged for a long time!!
