Faker Mentions Gumayusi for the First Time After the Transfer Period
On the evening of November 23 (Vietnam time), HLE officially announced Gumayusi as the new AD Carry for the team starting in the 2026 season. Thus, the final “bombshell” of the transfer season has detonated, and all teams in the LCK have essentially completed their rosters. Notably, earlier at a fan meeting event, Faker was the first T1 player to directly mention Gumayusi since the AD Carry born in 2002 left the reigning World Championship champions.

Accordingly, Faker shared: “I think I can feel how my teammates have matured day by day. I used to have a lot of pretty exciting calls in the game. But now, these have decreased significantly. Gumayusi has always been quite calm, while Oner and Keria seem to have matured much more than before.”
Similar to the departure of Zeus previously, while T1 took steps to erase the brand T1 Gumayusi, teammates like Keria and Oner, Doran have limited mentioning Gumayusi as much as possible, even when reviewing T1’s matches at the 2025 World Championship, Faker was also the first to mention his former close teammate. In the case of Zeus, it was Faker who was the first to reassure fans and show support for Zeus.

The community eagerly awaits the matchup between Faker and his juniors in the new season
After the 2024 transfer season, T1 bid farewell to Zeus and by the end of 2025, Gumayusi also departed. The common point of these two players is that they both went to HLE, and from there, the team, which Vietnamese fans call “the Orange House,” not only gained more strength but also promised some incredibly exciting matchups against T1 in the future.

Zeus had numerous shining moments against T1 in 2025. Now alongside him is another member, Gumayusi. It can be said that many fans are looking forward to how Faker will face off against his close junior, who arguably has had an even greater influence than Zeus on T1’s success or failure.
