In version 11.18 of Teamfight Tactics, reroll-focused compositions have started to make a comeback in the meta. This is due to the heavy nerfs on late-game compositions and the limited number of powerhouse team comps available in this version. Therefore, players are gradually turning to strategies that speed up the game to gain an early and mid-game health advantage.
This has led to the emergence of a relatively unusual playstyle known as Kha’Zix hyper-roll on the Chinese server. This playstyle takes advantage of the Divine Tactician trait, which includes two strong 1-cost units at three stars: Kha’Zix and Gragas, to accelerate the pace of the game. Once these two units can be upgraded to three stars, players can comfortably save gold and level up to add other expensive Divine Tactician units later in the game.

In the early game, Kha’Zix and Gragas should naturally be prioritized when pursuing this playstyle. You should also include a Brawler unit like Sett or Sejuani to increase Gragas’s durability. The advice here is not to pursue the Assassin trait at level 3 when playing Kha’Zix since the damage from this unit’s attacks isn’t very high and it is difficult to leverage critical hit stats effectively.

Next, you should only pursue the Kha’Zix, Gragas hyper-roll playstyle if you can acquire at least 5 one-star versions of these units before the Stone Golem round. Naturally having multiple Kha’Zix and Gragas units will help you save a significant amount of resources to upgrade these pieces to three stars. If you cannot meet this condition, players should switch to a standard 6 Divine Tactician playstyle instead of continuing to roll.
Moving into the mid-game, you should consider adding damage options and activating the 4 Divine Tactician threshold with units like Riven and Nidalee. This is because with a three-star Gragas and 60% damage reduction, you already have a very solid tank and don’t need to add more tank-oriented champions to your composition. If you notice an opponent using a powerful magic damage dealer, you might replace Riven with Soraka.

In the late game, what players need to do is complete the 6 Divine Tactician threshold as soon as possible with Garen and Karma. Ivern is also a good choice at this time when the 2 Sorcerer effect is still very valuable in the late game, even though this unit has been nerfed. If possible, Viego is a valuable addition in the late game as he provides control over the opposing team’s carry.

Regarding item builds, Infinity Edge and Hand of Justice are the most suitable items for Kha’Zix as they provide a significant amount of damage from both attacks and skills. You should also equip this unit with Guardian Angel to ensure that the carry survives long enough to deal optimal damage. For Gragas, this unit primarily needs Thornmail, Dragon Claw, and Warmog’s Armor to ensure durability while still dealing decent damage.
