Recently, the official page of PSG Talon – the reigning champion of the Pacific League of Legends Championship Series (PCS), posted an article that warmed the hearts of many Vietnamese League of Legends fans, announcing that they would display the VCS tournament logo on their jerseys while participating in Worlds 2021 as the number one seed from the region.
This idea stemmed from the fact that VCS could not participate in the Worlds tournament, and previously, both PCS and VCS shared the same roof under the old GPL name, so PSG Talon agreed (and sought the support of Vietnamese fans) to represent the entire Southeast Asia – Pacific region at this Worlds tournament.

The announcement also came at the time PSG unveiled their new jersey design, featuring the VCS logo printed on the team’s sleeves. This move received a lot of praise and support from the Vietnamese gaming community.
Many opinions expressed that it is unfortunate for VCS to continue missing out on an international tournament, but the presence of the VCS logo on PSG’s jersey will be a testament to the noble brotherhood spirit and prove that the love for esports knows no boundaries.
Alongside PSG Talon, Rogue – the number three seed from Europe, which received a direct entry into the group stage due to VCS’s absence, also posted a tribute and sent a message that they will fight for the fans and the Vietnamese players.

After these moves, PSG and RGE are likely to receive additional support from the Vietnamese League of Legends community, alongside the current top teams. As for PSG, after their achievement of reaching the top 4 at MSI 2021, they are full of hope for a successful Worlds this year, aiming to go deep into the tournament.
