On the evening of January 13, 2022, the Nimo TV Glory Night 2021 Gala was successfully held. This is an annual event of the livestream platform Nimo TV aimed at honoring the streamers, idols, and individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to this platform over the past year.
At this event, the famous streamer Độ Mixi and his Refund Gaming team dominated almost all award categories. Additionally, Thầy Giáo Ba, Dũng CT, the Trực Tiếp Game channel, MisThy… although newly joined, were also honored.
After the event, Mr. Feeliu – Chairman of Nimo TV had an interview with us to share his thoughts on the Nimo TV Glory Night 2021 Gala as well as insights on Nimo TV’s direction for 2022.
First of all, congratulations to you and the livestream platform Nimo TV for successfully organizing the Nimo TV Glory Night 2021 Gala. The past year was incredibly turbulent for Vietnam and the world due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Can you share about the preparations and organization of this event by Nimo TV? What challenges did the event face due to the pandemic?
Mr. Feeliu: Hello to the Vietnamese audience. First, thank you for the support of the Vietnamese audience for the Nimo TV platform over the past time. This is the second year we have organized the Nimo Gala in Vietnam. This year I feel a bit regretful because of the pandemic situation, the ceremony had to limit its scale and the number of guests.
During the preparation process, we were also very concerned about unforeseen changes. Since this Gala has been prepared for months, we did not know what circumstances might occur during that time. We had to set up plan A and plan B to prepare for the most risky situations and ensure the health safety of all guests.
The ceremony took place, although not perfectly, but we believe it left many memories and impressions in the hearts of the guests as well as the audience. We hope the pandemic situation will improve, and I will have the opportunity to attend the Nimo Gala next year! Next year will definitely be even more explosive than this year!
Although 2021 brought many difficulties and challenges, Nimo TV also achieved many milestones. Can you share some memorable milestones of Nimo TV in the past year?
Although last year had many difficulties and challenges, Nimo TV also had a lot of luck. We have the opportunity to collaborate with hundreds of streamers and idols, big and small. At the same time, Nimo TV also received support from domestic and international partners and publishers, bringing many top Esport tournaments. All of these have contributed to making Nimo TV a big family, a community, a playground where we can find brothers and friends with common interests and share and interact every day.
Some of the streamers who have joined the Nimo TV family include Trực Tiếp Game, Team Đụt, Thầy Giáo Ba, the SBTC team, Misthy, KL7. Besides, we cannot forget the famous names in the Vietnamese gaming community like 500Bros, VPT… Additionally, we also partnered with publishers like Garena, Riot Games… and accompanied various tournaments like the 2021 World Championship, PUBG Global Championship 2021, PUBG Mobile Pro League…
With the strong progress and achievements made in 2021, what direction do you and Nimo TV have for the upcoming 2022?
As shared in the video at the Gala, we recognize that the young generation of Vietnam is very dynamic and creative. We also highly value the potential of the livestream market in Vietnam. In the coming year, Nimo TV will continue to strengthen investment in Esports and tournaments as well as expand many new and more specialized and diverse directions such as: video, voice chat, just chatting…, bringing fresh content to the audience.
