At VNG Campus, representatives from VNGGames and VIRESA (Vietnam Esports Entertainment Association) held a meet-and-greet and launch event for the three Vietnamese PUBG Mobile teams, including D’Xavier, Team Secret, and Team Flash. The three teams will represent the country in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 (2025 PMGC) alongside 37 other top teams.

The 2025 PMGC will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from November 24 to December 14, 2025, with a total prize pool of up to $3,000,000 (approximately 75 billion VND). VNGGames will be the media partner broadcasting the tournament in Vietnamese. The Dplus team from South Korea is the reigning champion.

This year, the tournament marks the return of the Southeast Asian region after three years and merges with the PGC under the unified name PUBG UNITED, gathering the 40 best PUBG Mobile teams from around the globe. The Grand Finals will be held from December 12 to December 14 at Siam Paragon.

The 2025 PMGC event is seen as an important step as PUBG Mobile will become a medal-contending sport at the 20th Asian Games (ASIAN Games 20) in Nagoya, Japan in 2026. VIRESA affirms that this is an opportunity for local PUBG Mobile talents to hone their skills and competitive mindset. VIRESA will also continue to collaborate with VNGGames to organize the National Championship to maintain a learning and competitive environment for players.

Athlete Phan Văn Đông (LeViS) stated ahead of the tournament: “Personally, I, along with D’Xavier, Team Secret, and Team Flash, will do our utmost at the 2025 PMGC to bring back the best results for our nation’s esports. Thank you for the support from PUBG Mobile fans in Vietnam over time.”

A representative from the organizing committee, Ms. Nguyễn Như Bình, Head of PUBG Mobile Esports Development Department, shared: “I would like to send my best wishes to the three teams D’Xavier, Team Secret, and Team Flash for a smooth journey and to compete with full concentration to bring back the best results and good news for our national esports!”

The 2025 PMGC will kick off with the Gauntlet Round on November 24 (with D’Xavier). The Green Group (Team Secret) and Red Group (Team Flash) will compete on November 28 – 30 and December 2 – 4, respectively.
