In the last week of February, alongside the intense matches, particularly the “Super Classic” DWG KIA – T1, fans of League of Legends witnessed quite a troublesome drama. Specifically, this drama occurred during the DK – T1 match and directly involved Faker. As a result, the League of Legends community has been buzzing about the incident ever since.

Specifically, when he discovered an issue with his headset, Faker reached out for help but did not receive any support from the LCK organizers. Although the issue was resolved later, T1 fans in general and Faker in particular were understandably dissatisfied. Moreover, surrounding details like someone allegedly revealing that Faker lost his Flash to DK, or Coach Daeny insisting that the match must continue despite the unresolved issue… have left the League of Legends community confused.

Recently, T1 CEO Joe Marsh also “added fuel to the fire” when he stated that while discussing Faker’s situation and the LCK organizers on his stream, he was contacted by DK. Specifically, DK management requested that the CEO not mention them in the media anymore. Naturally, T1’s CEO completely ignored the request from the opposing team. He even shared that DK had contacted him right on his discord channel.

From the responses of DK and T1 CEO Joe Marsh, it is clear that this drama will not end anytime soon. Even now, T1 is preparing to enter their next match against Gen.G Esports, but the LCK organizers’ investigations and announcements regarding penalties for individuals and teams involved have yet to be revealed, leading T1 fans to believe that the LCK intends to let the issue “sink away” without further action.
