LazyFeel is Compared to a LCK Legend, a Striking Coincidence

LazyFeel is receiving significant attention from LCK.

LazyFeel Thrives with DRX, Earning Praise from LCK Fans

Perhaps at the start of the 2025 season, if someone had said that LazyFeel – the young player from VCS would secure a starting spot at DRX, even “kicking Teddy to the bench”, it would have sounded like a far-fetched dream. Especially considering LCK has no precedent for using foreign players, particularly from the underdog region of the esports world, VCS.

LazyFeel is thriving with DRX.

However, now LazyFeel is not only a starter but has also debuted in the official 2025 Regular Seasons, pushing Teddy to the Challengers team. Therefore, in recent days, the young star from VCS has garnered significant attention and has even been compared to Deft – another legend of “Dragon Blue” and of LCK in general.

Accordingly, many LCK fans have noticed two major similarities between the two players. First, like Deft, LazyFeel can play champions that are considered weak in the late game. Even with AD champions that scale into late-game such as Ezreal, this player is willing to concede resources to his teammates.

Next, with LazyFeel’s presence, DRX seems to partially recreate the roster that achieved the historic championship in 2022: a stable Top Lane with a few signature champions, a Jungle that is somewhat inconsistent but can create surprises, a Mid Lane with an aggressive playstyle, and an AD who knows how to play weak side. The current shortcoming of DRX compared to when they were champions is that Andil is not as rich in creativity and explosiveness as BeryL, and aside from LazyFeel, the other four members are difficult to compare with their predecessors even at their best.

DRX currently reminds many fans of the team of their golden era in 2022 but still seems to lag behind significantly.

But DRX Still Struggles to Compete for MSI or Even Worlds Spots

Although LazyFeel is thriving, the reality is that both teams DRX recently defeated were not highly rated. They may have beaten T1 previously, but the main reason was that the reigning 2024 World Champions were in a state of instability. T1 will be DRX’s opponent next week, and that might mark the end of LazyFeel and DRX’s “honeymoon period”.

Not to mention, besides T1, there are also NS and DK, who are teams currently in very high form. Perhaps DRX should aim to perform their best because securing a spot in international tournaments is now much harder than before.
