Perfect Pair
For Teamfight Tactics players, one of the most frustrating feelings is acquiring many duplicates of champions but not being able to upgrade them to 2 stars. This can lead to a deep losing streak, as units, no matter how strong, cannot defeat many opponents when at 1 star. This issue can be effectively solved with the Perfect Pair core, which helps your pairs of champions gain significant offensive and defensive stats.

Additionally, this core is very suitable for the currently strong team compositions, namely Innovators and Syndicate. With the Innovator team, you may often find yourself in a situation where you have to use duplicate champions to save gold while waiting for 5 champions. Therefore, the Perfect Pair core will help players overcome the most challenging phase of this team composition. As for the Syndicate team, this core allows you to use multiple Braum and Ahri towards the end of the game, creating immense power.
Sniper Nest
Among the ranged carry systems, the Marksman class boasts extremely powerful champions early in the game, such as Caitlyn and Ashe. These champions become even more dangerous when equipped with the Sniper Nest core, providing up to 40% additional damage. What’s noteworthy is that this damage boost applies not only to basic attacks but also to abilities. Thus, it’s quite understandable that a 1-star Caitlyn can eliminate a 2-star champion with this core.

Furthermore, the meta in the recent patches hasn’t favored acquiring Blitzcrank early on. Therefore, players can feel more secure letting Marksman units stay in one spot to activate the effect from this tech core. Towards the end of the game, this core becomes a true nightmare when used on Jhin or Zeri, significantly amplifying their already high damage output. So, if you have Marksmen early, the Sniper Nest core is the number one choice in the early game.
Cybernetic Augmentation
True to its name, this core directly takes the effects from the Cybernetic tribe in Season 3, providing health and attack damage boosts for champions holding items. This is a very strong effect early in the game as it grants units in your composition additional survivability and damage with just one item piece. After the first three rounds against monsters, you will have three spare items, so this core can provide 450-1350 health and 30-90 attack damage for your team as early as stage 2, which is no small number.

Of course, as the game progresses, the value of this effect diminishes as you focus on assembling items for certain champions. However, it still proves to be immensely useful if you utilize large Recycler thresholds such as 4 or 6 champions, granting those units incredible resilience. In the case where players have the Recycler threshold core later on, the value of this upgrade increases over time.
