T1 once again extends their winning streak in the LCK Spring 2022 after a relatively easy victory against Kwangdong Freecs. It was expected that Teddy and his teammates would at least surprise both the audience and T1, but throughout the 3 games, Faker and T1 dominated nearly 100%. On the KDF side, they had some moments of resistance in game 3, but that was not enough to turn the tide or create any significant change in a match that was already so lopsided.
With a relatively easy victory, T1 can comfortably await the clash between Gen.G Esports and DWG KIA to see who will be their opponent in the LCK Spring 2022 finals. With not having to exert too much effort, many fans are expecting T1 to showcase more surprising performances in the final, especially since both Gen.G and DK are much stronger than KDF.

In T1’s victory, names like Gumayusi, Oner… all performed very well. But particularly, the two names from T1 that are rising in this playoff series are Faker and especially Keria. Across media outlets, Keria’s name completely dominates the spotlight in the global League of Legends community. In fact, many opinions suggest that playing against Keria is truly challenging as opponents don’t know which support champion to ban to neutralize this player.

As one of the most talented Supports LCK has produced in recent years, Keria’s brilliance is not new this Spring. It should be noted that even for Daeny, a coach who prefers to rotate lineups, Keria has secured a spot in the starting lineup. Keria’s playstyle is incredibly creative and adaptive, while this young player reads situations very well and has the ability to make game-changing decisions. In fact, KDF’s coach Cain admitted before the match that Keria is currently T1’s key player.

Additionally, there have been numerous comments praising the efforts of FATE and the KDF players. It should be noted that just before the match against T1, FATE tested positive for COVID-19 and had to play online under not-so-good health conditions.

It can be said that in T1 right now, any name can shine and lead the team to victory. And indeed, if they use bans to limit T1’s power, Faker and his teammates might need more than 10 bans to truly have an effect.
