On the evening of March 29th (Vietnam time), Riot officially announced the new champions for the Arcana skin line. This is a skin line that was first introduced in April 2021 and has been praised for its visually striking, “cool” designs inspired by tarot cards. Notably, this is the first time Xerath will reveal his true form to the League of Legends community.

The next champions included in Riot’s new Arcana skin line are Ahri, Hecarim, Ryze, Xayah, and Rakan. According to speculation from the League of Legends community, Ahri is expected to represent The High Priestess, Xayah and Rakan as The Lovers, Ryze as either The Hermit or The Magician, while Hecarim may symbolize The Chariot from the tarot deck.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that this may be considered Ahri’s most “covered-up” skin yet. In most of Ahri’s skins, Riot has intentionally designed them to highlight the character’s allure. However, gamers seem a bit… disappointed with yet another skin for Ahri from Riot. Nonetheless, many opinions suggest that the new Ahri skin is quite beautiful and will be “given blood.”

Currently, the new skins in the Arcana line are set to be released in patch 12.7. The League of Legends community is also hopeful that if Riot seriously develops this skin line, there could be an intriguing lore or universe for the Arcana skins, which already carry a mystical and spiritual theme—a topic that easily piques everyone’s curiosity.
