Items in League of Legends are a crucial factor as they help champions gain power and secure victories. The prerequisite for players to spend gold on an item is its suitability for the champion or the stats and power it provides. Clearly, no one wants to purchase an item with weak and unsuitable stats, as this would cause players to waste a lot of gold while the effectiveness is low.

For gamers to make accurate decisions, the stats displayed for items in the shop must be 100% accurate. However, players have recently discovered that one item in League of Legends, after being purchased, has reduced stats compared to the advertisement. Specifically, this item is the Cursed Universe, which shows 1.2% health per second damage (for ranged champions) in the shop. Nevertheless, once purchased, this number drops to just 1%.

One thing that needs to be clarified here is that this is not an April Fool’s joke. Essentially, the post that discovered this error was published on March 31, and it is highly likely that this issue has existed in League of Legends for a long time. Perhaps the Cursed Universe is not a particularly popular item with a high pick rate, which is why this bug was only discovered yesterday.
According to information from the League of Legends Wikipedia page, the correct stat for the Cursed Universe is to deal 1.2% of maximum health per second as magic damage. It seems this item has encountered some display error when added to the player’s inventory. Hopefully, Riot Games will soon take action to fix this bug so players won’t be confused about the stats of the Cursed Universe.
