To say the least, the Ruined King – Viego is the champion that Riot Games has invested the most effort into introducing to the League of Legends audience. What seemed like a grand gesture was creating a Twitter account to introduce Seraphine, was surpassed when Riot surprised gamers by releasing the game Ruined King to tell Viego’s story. They even made Viego the centerpiece of the Ruination event (although it wasn’t very successful) to establish this champion as a powerful and extremely cool character.

Indeed, when officially appearing in League of Legends, Viego also possesses tremendous power, being able to effectively play in both the Solo Lane and Jungle. Even when showcased in professional League of Legends tournaments, Viego has maintained his dominance. In fact, even to this day, Viego remains a strong Jungle champion in tournaments.
Besides his power, another factor that people remember Viego for is the bugs. From the moment he was released, countless bugs associated with Viego have been discovered by the community. Even his creator at Riot, August, has expressed helplessness against Viego’s bugs, as the more he fixes, the more bugs seem to arise. Jokingly, it’s because Viego was created that Mordekaiser’s title of “King of Bugs” now has a worthy competitor.
If you recall, just a few days ago, we reported on Mordekaiser being able to send a champion to a “parallel universe”. And just a few days later, a hilariously absurd bug with Viego was discovered where the Ruined King suddenly transformed into the cat Yuumi, clinging onto his teammates. Specifically, this bug occurs when Viego defeats the opposing Yuumi, transforms into her, and then latches onto his ally. After that, Viego cannot escape and continues to cling to his teammate just like the original Yuumi.
Another point that makes Viego resemble Yuumi is that while clinging to an ally, he still uses his abilities normally. The only difference is that when the ally is taken down, instead of returning to his normal state, Viego becomes untargetable. When that ally respawns, Viego will automatically return to the Ancient Stone and continue to cling to that character.

This is clearly a major bug of Viego that completely changes this champion’s gameplay and makes him dependent on his teammates. Hopefully, Riot Games will fix this bug as soon as possible to minimize the issues Viego faces in the future.
