The Rise of Naafiri in TFT Season 14
At a time when the High Technology meta still dominates TFT Season 14, Naafiri was often seen merely as a system activator and typically replaced when players acquired this trait’s emblem. However, in recent patches, Riot Games has taken strong actions to change this by directly buffing Naafiri’s skill damage and upgrading the A.M.P. system. Furthermore, the buff to the Ultimate Beast Fang item has also significantly strengthened Naafiri in the early game with powerful damage output.

Not stopping there, Naafiri has also been discovered to have a powerful interaction with the item called Shadow Blade. When used effectively, Naafiri can easily take down the opponent’s backline carries, directly leading to victory for the player. These factors enable Naafiri and the A.M.P. composition to snowball effectively, applying significant pressure on opponents in the late game and helping players secure easy wins.
Building a Team Composition Around Naafiri in TFT Season 14
The first thing players need to do at the beginning of the match is check the High Technology items available in this game. If the Ultimate Beast Fang is the first item, players can aim for 3 High Technology units and equip that item to Naafiri. In other cases, playing with Team Fighters proves to be a much safer approach when wanting to use Naafiri as the main carry while ensuring the team’s durability.

By level 6, players should aim for a composition with 4 Team Fighters combined with Naafiri and any A.M.P. unit (usually Yuumi). After that, a slow roll strategy should be applied to upgrade Naafiri and Shyvana to 3 stars as quickly as possible. Additionally, other Team Fighters can also be upgraded if the shop offers many to accelerate the accumulation for the summoning unit.

In the late game, players should add strong A.M.P. units like Annie and Samira to boost damage output. Moreover, Viego is also a highly valuable unit at level 9 and should be included when it activates the Specialist trait, which can reduce the damage output of opponents. This also helps Naafiri withstand fights better and deal extremely effective damage even in the late game.

Some Tips When Building the Team Composition
In terms of items, Naafiri will need the Justice Hand and Infinity Blade to maximize damage output. Additionally, items like Blood Sword (to increase survivability), Mercury Cloak (to resist crowd control), or Shadow Blade (to attack the backline) should be considered for the third item slot. For the Technology Core, upgrades that directly enhance the A.M.P. system, such as Pulse Pressure or Transfer, will be top priorities. Furthermore, Pandora’s Item is also a very strong choice as it ensures Naafiri always has the optimal items.
