Mutants

As a result, this composition becomes extremely dependent on the tech cores that provide the Mutant Emblem, as they help players easily reach the valuable milestone mentioned above and remove some low-value characters at the end of the game, such as Kassadin.
Moreover, the Mutant composition also needs to have the Unstable Evolution core as it significantly boosts champion stats each time they level up. This way, you will have a statistical advantage to overwhelm opponents. Not to mention specific compositions with Malzahar or Cho’Gath as the main carries also require additional cores to strengthen them. Therefore, Mutants are a type of composition that is very difficult to build successfully due to its dependence on too many random factors from effects to tech cores.
Challengers
Although not entirely dependent on tech cores like Mutants, Challengers also find themselves in a challenging situation without the appropriate cores. The reason is that many of the main characters in this system are physical damage dealers, and cores that provide armor reduction or increase AD are all suitable. The most typical example of core dependence is the Blade Edge core to gain as much AD as possible. When this core gets nerfed, the 6 Challenger team also loses its power.
Not only tech cores but even equipment factors significantly affect the construction of an effective 6 Challenger team. For example, if your Warwick lacks the Bloodthirster or Quicksilver, he will become severely lacking in damage or get taken down too early. The same happens with Tryndamere or Kai’Sa. In summary, the excessive dependence on tech cores and equipment is making the 6 Challenger team struggle to survive in the current meta of Teamfight Tactics.
Yordles
Upon reading this, many may think that the Yordles composition will depend on cores like Tiny but Mighty or Pickpocket, as they are specifically designed for this trait. However, the truth is that Yordles are actually very dependent on the Luden’s Echo core as it provides a significant amount of damage for this composition. Essentially, Yordles champions do not have a considerable amount of damage on their skills and need the Luden’s Echo core to have enough damage to get through the difficult mid-game phase.
Additionally, cores that provide energy regeneration like Blue Energy are also crucial for this composition, especially before reaching 6 Yordles. Therefore, the advice is to only aim for a 6 Yordles composition when you possess at least one of the two cores mentioned above. Although they do not affect the champion upgrade process, they help Yordles champions become significantly stronger.
