Discover the Secret to Rapid Ranking of a “Freak” Duo Playing Lee Sin – Taric in the Bot Lane

It's hard to believe, but this "freak" duo has climbed to the Master rank using Lee Sin - Taric since Season 2 until now.

For every gamer, finding a teammate who understands you is an incredibly valuable thing. Especially in a game that requires teamwork like League of Legends, this becomes even more challenging. Yet, the duo of gamers on the Western server named Peter Sicko and For Peter have been climbing ranks together since Season 2 and have consistently succeeded in reaching the rank of Master – Grandmaster.

Not stopping there, these two gamers also utilize a very unusual strategy of Lee Sin – Taric in the Bot Lane. The reason for this stems from their discovery that Lee Sin’s E – Tremor/Aftershock ability once had the capability to slow down the attack speed of opponents and is an extremely strong counter against enemy Marksmen. Even when this effect was removed from Lee Sin’s E skill, this “freak” duo continued to climb ranks using Lee Sin – Taric without encountering any problems.

So what is the secret of this duo that allows them to rank up so effectively? The answer lies in the unimaginable power of Lee Sin and Taric right from level 1 when they can take down any target at the start of the game. Of course, Lee Sin is a strong champion at level 1 with Q – Sonic Wave/Shadowless Kick, however, the damage that Taric deals with his E – Dazzle and his passive is also extremely formidable at this stage. As a result, when these two combine, few champions can withstand them at level 1.

If they can’t take down the opponent early, these two have another weapon: a guaranteed stun when Lee Sin combines with Taric. This combo works as follows: When Lee Sin casts Sonic Wave hitting the opponent, Taric immediately uses E – Dazzle (while connected to an ally with W – Bastion). When Lee Sin executes Shadowless Kick to approach the target, the opponent is guaranteed to be stunned by Taric’s E.

Clearly, a fragile Marksman or Support champion cannot withstand the damage that Lee Sin deals in the first 3 levels. Moreover, even if the opponent has mobility skills, they cannot escape from Lee Sin because Taric can stun them. As a result, once they are hit by Lee Sin’s Sonic Wave and have to endure the combo from this duo, your team’s Marksman is almost guaranteed to be taken down. From there, Lee Sin – Taric will snowball extremely strong, even diving towers, to continuously take down opponents.

Not stopping there, this duo can repeat this (tower diving and taking down opponents) in other lanes such as Top Lane or Mid Lane. This helps strengthen the entire team, surpassing the opponent, and victory is merely within reach. The opponents cannot resist when their Marksman suffers too heavily from being continuously taken down.

The only disadvantage of this playstyle is that it requires Lee Sin and Taric to always go together and coordinate precisely in each skill combo. Therefore, the more teammates understand each other, the stronger this playstyle becomes, even preventing opponents from having a chance to fight back. If you want to learn this playstyle, make sure to find a truly compatible teammate.
